Welcome to Corporate Services

Corporate Services division was previously known as the Finance and Administration Division within the Office of the Prime Minister, however, in July 2006 it was relabelled Corporate Services.  The core functions of this division has extended to cover human resources functions, the administering of the Official Information Act requirements, providing secretariate services to the National Research Committee and more so developing overall OPM procedures manual.  It is our great pleasure to welcome you to your page.

Introduction

The Corporate Services division is responsible for the general management of the Office of the Prime Minister including the overall financial and administration management of the OPM.  The Corporate Services seek to improve all general management systems.  Within the Corporate Services Division we have 3 permanent staff, 4 part timers.

Corporate Services is the central division of the OPM, we interact with all other divisions, our assistance to other divisions is vital for the overall achievements of the OPM's objective.  The overall welfare of personnel within the OPM is administered by the Corporate Services.  Corporate Services provide effective support services to all other divisions of the OPM. The exsistence Corporate Services is paramount for the overall operation of the OPM.

1. Financial Management Systems

2. Administration and Customer Services Management

3. Human Resources Management

4. Building and Grounds Management

5. Coordinate the hosting of government official functions

Additional Functions for Corporate Services

Overarching Objectives:

The Objectives of Corporate Services are;

             1.  To provide a robust financial quality management system that is transparent and to ensure the achievements of projected outcomes and to meet statutory requirments in terms of adherence to relevant Acts and Policies.

2.  To provide an effective administration and customer care systems for the betterment of the OPM's internal and external image

3.  To provide effective human resources management systems to ensure that all employees of the OPM are remunerated accurately and in a timely manner to comply with the requirements of teh MFEM, PERCA and OPSC Act.

4.  To provide a well maintaned safe, secure and healthy working environment for both employees and customers.

5.  Coordinate and provide efficient services for the hosting of Government's official  functions
