Te Tango Raumaire o Avaiki is the first ever legislated national awards system of the Cook Islands, established in 2025 to coincide with our 60 years of self-governance. It is a uniquely Cook Islands way of recognising service, leadership, innovation, bravery and achievement.
Nominations are now open for the first ever Cook Islands National Awards. Nominations will close on Wednesday 15 October, 2025 at 4pm.
There are three ways you can easily nominate someone:
1. Pick up a hard copy of the nomination form from our offices
2. Download the editable PDF form here and email it back to us
3. Submit your nomination form using this online form
