Objective: To provide policy and planning advice for national sustainable development Te Tango: Te akamatutu'anga i te Arataki'anga e te Kaveinga o te Basileia Central Policy and Planning Office (Turanga Akataka Kaveinga o te Basileia) Kia Orana from the team at the Central Policy and Planning Office. We are responsible for administering the National Sustainable Development Plan for the Cook Islands Government. It is our key role to provide support to Cabinet through the provision of sound advice regarding national policies and plans. This planning and policy support service extends to all Government Ministries and Crown Agencies or State Owned Enterprises. The CPPO are key facilitators for new development programmes and initiatives that is later mainstreamed to a relevant or appropriate Ministry or Stakeholder. We facilitate communications between and among stakeholders and provide input into national, regional and international planning reports or policy documents.
